PTWM-How it all began......

I have read the many blogs by FTWM and it inspires me to add my two sense worth being a PTWM (Part-Time working mum). With all the mad rush everyday trying to rush the kids to school, cooking meals, rushing to work, back home to see to the kids homework, reminding them its bedtime and finally some quiet moments for myself....the madness happens everyday..it's a ritual.

Why honeybear? Well, on top of giving myself the name of Superbmum, honeybear originates from my hubby to my precious daughter one day when he sent her a sms asking her how did her exam go and he texted her "How's your exam, honeybear?" Well, she came home and showed me the sms. I commented that he has never called me that before and she is indeed lucky as he is hardly one to use such endearing terms. To remember such sweet moments between father and daughter I decided to name it "smhoneybear".

Why BakeInspire? I have all the mums and their baking blogs to thank. Before I accepted the role of PTWM, I needed something to keep me sane and not succumb to the pressures of not having a FT job so I picked up baking. It was truly therapeutic and works well for me. After trying my friend Marg's choc mousse one day when she came to visit me at my new place, I was reunited with baking again...inspired by her delicious choc mousse. I started visiting blogs and when I saw the beautiful cakes that were posted and mums' showcasing their bakes, it was truly inspirational ! Thus the name...BAKEINSPIRE.......

By chance I was chatting with my good friend and we decided to work together on this blog. Cheers Marg!! With God's grace, he has brought us together for our very first project. May there be many more to come.
